György S. KÁRPÁTI, dr (1949, Sopron - ) photographer, videographer. He started his artistic career with film, he won numerous awards in Medic Amateur Film Studio with his work. Then became a member in Győr Amateur Film studio in 1981 and organized the Amateur Film Studio Sopron, and organized a national film festival. His most major event was to document the Pan-Europen Picnic in 1989. His recorded video sequences were seen around the world press, from Japan to America they were broadcasted. He is a member of the Association of Hungarian Photographers since 2013.
